Asylum Fiber’s The Knitting Place Advent Calendar
The advent is heading towards a beautiful deep orange and so is my Radvent Cardigan. I have finished the first sleeve and cast on the body stitches. Because of the ease of this project, my knitting on it has been going pretty fast.

Day #9 of the Moonglow Fiber Yarn Co’s advent features an olive color, which looks wonderful next to its rainbow fade counterparts. The dye job is beautiful on this set of mini skeins. As a result, I cannot wait to use them.
Firefly Notes Stitch Marker Advent Calendar
Today’s Firefly Notes Stitch Marker Advent Calendar contained.. a hammer? Because of this, and the note on the paper (“Well… that’s random”), it made me laugh. It’s cute. A little confusing, but I can appreciate quirky things.
I have been pretty impressed with my Yarn Advent Calendars so far. Both of them are different takes on fades. One is a beautiful rainbow and one features (so far) a bunch of warm colors. The yarn quality is wonderful and opening up one mini present a day is fun.
